With our extensive experience from carrying out thousands of sweeps and stove installations across the county, our practical experience is complemented by our HETAS and Chimney Sweep Associated accreditations. What we Offer - Servicing / Maintenance Products & Pricing

As an essential service, we offer standalone products and services including subscription packages, to all of our customers. We are here to take the hassle out of organising your chimney sweep, to make sure your chimney is kept safe by being maintained at regular intervals, from the first service we carry out and going forward. With the biggest uptake of new clients being from Oct onwards, if you are having your first service carried out during winter, we encourage the next sweep to be carried out at the end of the burning season. This is a preferable time not just out of convenience, but by way of the fact that it is best to have the bulk of the soot from the burning season removed at the end of the burning season. This leaves the appliance ready to use, in plenty of time before winter sets in.

Please note - If you believe there is a nest in the chimney or there is the likelihood of requiring additional services, please review all of the services we offer and make your booking accordingly.   If only booked in for a sweep we would not have allocated sufficient time to your booking to remove a nest for example, but would still have to charge for the call-out.  So it is important to ensure that bookings are made accordingly to the required service(s). 

First Sweep - What to Expect

With our booking system, you will be allotted an AM or PM timeslot. With the nature of our job, it isn’t always possible to determine how long each job will take, so we can not guarantee an exact timeslot at all times. We will of course be as accommodating as we can, endeavouring to cause as little disturbance to your day as possible. We are at all times conscientious of others’ property and take care to take adequate measures to maintain cleanliness. Our aim is to leave the property cleaner than it was when we arrived, by the time we’re all finished - so you needn’t worry about any mess. Dust sheets will be laid (with floor runners when appropriate) and the fireplace / stove is sealed up, keeping all the mess contained. 

Our preferred method is rotary power sweeping. A sweeping brush or flail head is used to clean the chimney. The soot/debris are then hoovered up using professional equipment and taken away. Depending on the type of soot, it is more often than not disposed of by way of licensed waste disposal or otherwise sparsely distributed in areas where it can benefit wildlife growth. 

Our sweeps will happily answer any questions or queries you may have at the time. If you are using our services for the first time and you are unsure of how safely your stove has been installed, we recommend booking a sweep & safety inspection.

Please note that due to a high volume of demand for our professional services we are currently only able to offer stove supply & installation works. 

Regrettably we are unable to take on additional bookings for chimney sweeping this season, or for associated remedial works at this time.
